Percussion - Russell Wilson
Personal Info

Russell Wilson, one of the band's percussion team, has been a member of Kingdom Brass since 2005. Away from the band, he undertakes a variety of voluntary work such as helping in the music department at Lochgelly High School, and ecological work at the Ecology Centre by Kinghorn Loch.

Russell comes from a musical family and also plays in the Kirkcaldy Orchestra, the Edinburgh Symphony Orchestra, the New Scottish Orchestra and in the orchestra for Kirkcaldy Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

Other Musical Interests

Outside of Band and Orchestras, Russell enjoys listening to film scores particularly of Jerry Goldsmith, John Williams, Hans Zimmer and James Horner. Russell enjoys playing all of the band repertoire especially when film themes are on the programme.

Favourite Performance

His favourite performances with the band were the concerts on the tour of Germany in 2006.
