Laura Herriot, Kingdom's 2nd baritone player, lives in the village of Charlestown, just outside Dunfermline. She is married to Craig, one of Kingdom's solo cornet players, and they have a son, Murray, and a daughter, Rhona. Laura works as a Production Director for an Edinburgh advertising agency, and in her spare time she enjoys hill walking.

Laura began playing on soprano with Johnstone Silver Band, before taking a break from banding and moving to Edinburgh to study. She began playing again with Penicuik Silver on flugel before signing with Cowdenbeath on cornet, and has played cornet, flugel horn and tenor horn with Kingdom Brass. Laura was one of the founder members of Kingdom in 1999.
