Personal Info Craig Herriot, one of the solo cornet players with Kingdom Brass, lives in the village of Charleston, near Dunfermline, and is married to Laura, the band's 2nd baritone player. They have one son, Murray, and a daughter, Rhona. In his spare time Craig enjoys running, golf and hill walking. Craig was taught by Jimmy Blair at Foulford Primary School and joined Cowdenbeath Public Band in 1973. He left in 1984 to join Bo'ness and Carriden Band and played in their performance of Dances & Arias at the National Finals of that year. Craig took a break from banding after that, returning to Kingdom in 2002. Other Musical Interests Progressive rock bands of the 1960's and 70's. Favourite Testpieces Dove Descending, Paganini Variations, Concerto Grosso, Carnival Overture, Variations on a Ninth Favourite Concert Pieces Procession to the Minster Favourite Performance Desford performing Procession to the Minster at Spennymoor in the 80's.
