Bill Sandell is the band's bass trombone player and Chairman. He lives in Rosyth and is married to Carol, the band's 2nd baritone player. Bill has one daughter and three step children. He is a retired police officer, and now spends his time golfing and banding (and claims he has no time for anything else!).

Bill's supplied his list of bands, in chronological order, which reads - Kelty, Lochgelly jnrs, Kelty, Newmains, then the Lifeguards Band of the Househould Cavalry (on his horse, Sausage), Crystal Palace, Hillingdon, Waltham St Lawrence, Broxburn, Buckhaven, Lochgelly, Kelty, Kingdom Brass.
